Belgaum/Belagavi is the third largest city in Karnataka. Officially known as Belagavi, the place was also named as Venugrama or the Bamboo Village during historical times. It is interesting to know that the city has been selected as one among the 20 cities called as smart cities under PM Modi’s Smart Cities Mission.
Belgaum has a tropical savanna climate. It is known for its pleasant year-round climate.
The city is also known as the “Sugar Bowl of Karnataka. Belgaum is known for kunda, a sweet made from milk.
The city is also good place for food lovers. North Karnataka meal is famous in the city.
Belgaum is connected by road , air an rail.
Belgaum is mostly preferred by travellers. The best season or months to visit places in Belgaum are February, November, December. There are 21 tourist places in Belgaum, which can be explored by travellers. Local attractions can be visited at any time of the day, be it early morning, afternoon, evening or night, as suitable for travellers.

About the Venue
KLE Convention Centre illustrates a simple response to functional requirements which belie a complex set of urban design challenges. Its purpose is to enable CC to share in regional Belgaum’s growing appeal for business tourism. However, it differs from other city’s stand – alone facility grafted onto KLE’s existing multi- purpose Centre.
As such, one of the major challenges was how to generate a sufficiently distinct identity to entice custom to KLE while also enriching a civic and entertainment precinct already functioning.
Our approach was to reconsider the brief such that existing and new buildings could function compatibly, and then to devise an architectural language that transmits memorable identity for business tourism attraction as well as enhances the wider precinct.
